I have always wanted to do the GNR. But being a big lad, unfit and unhealthy I've never pulled myself round to doing it.

Having watched the 2023 GNR on TV and seeing local hero Bill Cooksey 102year old gentleman completing the challenge I was so inspired by this man I said that's it im doing it.

I took the opportunity to sign up to do it in aid of Diabetes UK due to having the disease myself, my elder brother having it, my mother having it also several other family members have had it.
