Story
Please support my volunteer efforts to build home dialysis rooms for children in Guatemala this April.
Participating in a mission trip is something that I have desired to do for a very long time. This is an opportunity for me to continue to do what I love (serving patients with End Stage Renal Disease) and fulfill one of my dreams.
In partnership with local organizations in Guatemala, Bridge of Life and volunteers like myself are building and designing PD rooms for pediatric patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ERSD).
Bridge of Lifeโs PD Room Project is a new initiative that aims to provide a safe space for children with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) to undergo home dialysis treatment. By enabling home treatment, we're not only cutting down on the time and costs associated with traveling to clinics but also opening up new opportunities for education and work. Plus, it's a significant step towards transplant possibilities for these kids. Together, we can make a real difference in their lives, providing them with the resources they need to live, heal, and thrive.
Thank you for supporting my goals and Bridge of Life's mission to strengthen healthcare across the globe! To learn more, please visit www.bridgeoflifeinternational.org/
