Story
On Saturday, October 17 Kat will retro run 100km at the Ray Lewis Track in Hamilton to raise awareness and funds for the Good Shepherd Steps to Health Program.
In 2015, Kat attempted to set the Guinness World Record for Fastest Female Retro Running a Full Marathon. Kat achieved the record in 4:48:42, however her GoPro batteries died, so footage was not captured for the official record. In 2017, Kat attempted the same record, finishing in 4:26:06, however yet again her GoPro batteries died. Kat is the current World Record Holder in Reto Running a Full Marathon, but seeks redemption in obtaining the Guinness World Record.
So, why not increase the distance….from 42.2km to seeking the Guinness World Record for Fastest Female Retro Running 100km!
With that big of a distance, we need a big fundraising goal! We set our goal to be $6,200! All donations will go directly towards sending Good Shepherd Steps to Health members to camp!
