One year ago I had an unexpected seizure at my cheer practice and was taken by ambulance to Children’s Hospital. When I got my diagnosis of a brain tumor I was terrified but the workers at Children’s created a warm and safe environment. I had gotten brain surgery done a month after my diagnosis and my surgeon did a fantastic job of explaining everything and also on the surgery. Now that I am better and thriving, I wanted to do something for the people that were there for me in the scariest time of my life. So I have decided to help fundraise money that goes to directly to buying gifts and toys for patients and help the kids cheer up during Christmas time!!
