Story
EIA works with underserved communities and global partners to execute sustainable engineering projects that build local capacity and improve access to essential resources. Since 2009, thousands of volunteers from dozens of universities and companies across the globe have designed and built over 250 pedestrian bridge and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) projects alongside rural communities in 12 countries, serving over 200,000 people. Those numbers are continuing to grow this year!
Last year I spent 7 weeks in Trampa Mayu, Bolivia constructing a ~46m footbridge with seven other Notre Dame students and had a lifechanging experience. To continue serving NDSEED, EIA, and the lovely inhabitants of rural Bolivia, I will be joining the 2025 NDSEED build in Papa Chacra, Bolivia for two weeks as a Bridge Corps. Please consider supporting EIA by making a financial contribution today!
