Jason's Running BOSTON and Needs YOUR Help!

Jason Kauper is raising money for UMass Memorial Health

Team: Team fundraising for UMass Memorial Health

UMass Memorial's Deployable Medical Team is one of only two disaster medical teams in the State, on call by order of the Governor and specifically designed to provide advanced medical care during a catastrophic event in Massachusetts.

Story

My name is Jason and I am a fourth (and final!) year medical student at UMass Medical School in Worcester. I have lived in Massachusetts my whole life, spectated the marathon several times while in college, volunteered in the finish line medical tent this past year, and now have the privilege of personally running in support of the UMass Memorial Deployable Medical Team!

The UMass Memorial Deployable Medical Team is one of only two disaster medical teams in the State, specifically designed to provide advanced medical care during a catastrophic event in Massachusetts. The hospital hosted team is fully managed by UMass but is “on call” by order of the Governor to respond to events in our state and to be present to our neighbors in times of crisis.

Every dollar I raise will directly support equipping, training, and preparing our UMass Memorial DMT for the day when we are called upon to be the first, last, and best line of defense against disaster.
