On August 12th, 2025 I'm stepping way out of my comfort zone—literally! I’ll be rappelling from the tallest building in Halifax as part of the Easter Seals Drop Zone, a thrilling fundraiser that helps support children and youth with disabilities.

To take part, I need to raise at least $1,500—and every dollar goes directly to Easter Seals, an organization that has made a huge difference in our lives.

They’ve helped my daughter, Sophie Jones, with her wheelchair and her hippocampe—things that may seem small to some, but have been absolutely life-changing for her. This is my chance to give back and help more kids like Sophie get the support they need.

I’m scared of heights, but I’m more determined than ever to make this dream come true—not just for myself, but for the incredible individuals Easter Seals helps every single day.
