My commitment to advancing this level of care is deeply personal. After facing my own medical challenges, I experienced firsthand the compassion and excellence that define Overlook Hospital and Atlantic Health. As a patient in the neurology unit, I witnessed not only the physicians’ technical expertise, but also their genuine care for patients. After delivering difficult news, one doctor took the time to follow up after appointments to make sure I was doing okay. That experience left a lasting impression on me.

Healthcare has always been a meaningful part of my life. My mother was a physician, and growing up around medicine instilled in me a deep respect for the field. Giving back has also been a core value in my family. While I watched them volunteer and work closely with hospitals when I was younger, I now want to take on a more active and intentional role myself. Serving on the Overlook Hospital board would allow me to give back to a place that played a significant role in my personal journey, while also advocating for the specialized technology and resources that attract top surgeons, support continued growth, and ensure Overlook remains a leader in neurological care. Supporting this innovation means ensuring that every patient receives not only cutting-edge treatment, but also the same compassion that shaped my own experience.
