In 2021, after a misdiagnosis, I was diagnosed with Stage III Anal Cancer. Thankfully, I was able to receive vital treatments ant Penn and recover. I am impacted daily by those treatments, yet very grateful for them.

In 2023, the Annual Fund raised $500,000 to support the Anal Cancer Foundation's mission to end anal cancer and improve the lives of those affected by it. Thanks to this support, anal cancer patients and their families were able to participate in informational forums such as the Anal Cancer Patient Summit, sign up for the Peer-to-Peer Support Program, receive help from 1:1 patient navigation services, and gain knowledge through their in-depth treatment guides. Donors generosity made all of this possible.

But there is still so much work to be done. That's why I’m launching a new end-of-year campaign with a target amount of $500 USD.
