On Sunday, 11th October 2026, I will be taking on the MBNA Chester Metric Marathon in memory of my wonderful uncle who recently passed away from cancer.

This is a unique and challenging 26.2-kilometre (16.3-mile) route starting from the Chester Racecourse, winding through the historic city walls, and heading out into the Cheshire countryside.

I am running to support Macmillan Nurses who helped "Uncle Den" and his family through challenging times, and did so with respect and kindness through to his final moments.

Anything you can give for this worthwhile cause will be so greatly appreciated and help other families to continue to receive the much needed support given by such wonderful nurses.
