Story
Each year I participate in the Ringer because I believe deeply in what the MACC Fund stands for and the lives it helps save. This year marks our 10th year, and it carries special meaning personally.
Our team at 3tree has the honor of producing the MACC*Stars shared across Wisconsin, each designed by a child fighting cancer. The 2025 star was designed by Leo, a courageous and artistic 6 year old. Leo unfortunately passed away on January 2, 2026, but his creativity, joy, and voice live on through the artwork he shared.
Leo's Story - Click Here - Sharing this short TMJ4 story about Leo, his art, and the impact of the MACC Fund. It captures far better than I ever could why this work matters.
Helping bring Leo’s design to life was a privilege and a reminder of why research matters. I’m playing this year in his memory, and in support of every child and family still fighting.
John Wooden said, “You can’t live a perfect day until you do something for someone who will never be able to repay you.” These Kids Are Worth The Ask!
The MACC Fund is a Milwaukee-based 501(c)(3) dedicated solely to funding research to find cures for childhood cancer and related blood disorders. Today, nearly 92 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to research. Survival rates have increased from 20% in 1976 to nearly 85% today because of research and supporters like you.
Thank you for being part of this journey and helping move us closer to a cure.
