Story
I want to help give to St. John's Children's Hospital like they have given to Madison. From birth till now Madison has spent countless days in and out of St. John's Children's Hospital. They have given her exceptional care, love, entertainment and comfort during each and every stay.
Born at 38 weeks she spent 43 days in the NICU at St. John's. Then, she was trached at 4 months old due to having poor oxygen and high CO2 levels. Being on a ventilator and trached helped Madison thrive. She was vented for about 5 years and trached for 6.5 years. She spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital when she came down with a bad trach infection. Madison spent her 4th Birthday in the hospital and they went above and beyond to make it extra special for her. After, being decannulated didn't mean that was the end of Madison's time spent in the hospital because even now that she is 10 she still has spent a fair amount of time admitted at the Children's Hospital. St. John's seemed like our 2nd home for the longest time.
The money raised helps kids like Madison! Just the smallest donation can make the biggest impact on a child that is admitted to the hospital. From the board games, coloring books, toys, ect. from child life. Fun time and singing songs during music therapy. To the wagons that kids go down for surgery in. Or the updates that are done around the Children's Hospital, makes a hospital stay that much more tolerable. If you can donate I would really appreciate it.
Thank you, Krista Austin
