I would not be here, running my first ever half marathon, if not from the support and care of CHEO and Childhood Cancer Canada.

I want to give back to organizations supporting children and families going through the same thing I did when I was two years old in 2000. I’m a proud survivor of childhood cancer, more specifically a rare cancer called clear cell sarcoma of the kidney.

I may only have one kidney but I’m just as strong and healthy as I would be with two.
