Posse was inspired by a student who said, "I never would have dropped out of college if I'd had my Posse with me."

Posse is a merit-based college success program working to bring greater diversity to leadership positions in our country by sending students to college in cohorts of 10, so they can support each other. Posse does not screen for race or need. We look for extraordinary students who not only excel in school but demonstrate incredible leadership ability and represent the diversity of the American population. Over 13,000 Posse Scholars have been accepted into the program, they have won over $2.2 billion in scholarships and have a 90% graduation rate.
