SIA Shark Dive · 8 February 2025

A charity shark dive with 16 brave divers raising money for SIA

Story

Hi Everyone

On the 8th February, myself and two other Fletchers colleagues are daring to dive to help raise vital funds for the Spinal Injuries Association, an amazing charity that help those with spinal cord injuries live fulfilled lives.

We will be diving with one of Europe’s largest collections of sharks including spectacular Sand Tiger sharks, endangered Guitar sharks, extraordinary Black Tip sharks, along with Stingrays and an array of tropical fish. Weighing in at up to 350lbs and at lengths of 3.2m the Sand Tiger sharks are by far the largest in the tank!

Why We're Supporting SIA

There are around 50,000 people living with a spinal cord injury (SCI) in the UK, and approximately 2,500 people sustain or acquire a spinal cord injury each year. That's one person every eight hours!

Fletchers' continued support of fundraisers means that we can help the Spinal Injury Association (SIA) be there for SCI people and their families.
