Lauren Valavicius is a leader in the banking industry, working as a Premier Private Banker at South State Bank. She plays a key role in providing personalized banking services to clients while contributing to the bank’s overall success. Lauren is a Huntsville native and a graduate of Auburn University. She is currently in Leadership Greater Huntsville’s Connect Class 27 and serves on Huntsville Hospital’ s Development Council. In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing pickleball and mahjong, decorating and traveling.

Lauren has a deep love for Huntsville Botanical Garden, recalling fond childhood memories of attending events like birthday parties, a Teddy Bear Breakfast, the Scarecrow Trail and Galaxy of Lights. She appreciates the Garden for its educational workshops, fundraisers, plant sales and seasonal exhibits. With programs like the Butterfly House, Dog Days, gardening classes and races, the Garden offers something for everyone! The beauty of the outdoors and strong community involvement make it such a valuable asset to Huntsville.
