Story
I believe communities grow stronger when we show up for each other in real, practical ways. Habitat for Humanity Women Build is exactly that kind of work. Women coming together, learning new skills, building actual homes, and proving that community is created through shared effort, not just shared belief.
My own leadership philosophy is grounded in the idea of abundant community. Everyone has something to offer. Everyone has a place in the work. Women Build reflects that perfectly. It combines empowerment, belonging, and hands-on service in a way that feels aligned with who I am and how I want to give back.
I chose to dedicate my time to Habitat because home is more than a structure. Home is stability. Home is safety. Home is dignity. A safe home can change the trajectory of an entire family and ripple outward for generations. When we build homes, we are building hope and possibility.
This year I am committing my time, my labor, and my voice to help create that reality for a family in Spokane. Your donation becomes part of that impact. Every contribution helps fund materials, tools, training, and the long-term stability that comes from safe and affordable housing.
If you believe in community, in women supporting women, or in creating opportunities for families to thrive, I invite you to join me. You can volunteer, you can donate, or you can advocate. Every form of involvement matters. Every action is part of the build.
Let us build something together. One home. One family. One future at a time.
