I’m running the NYC Marathon in support of Tina’s Wish, an organization committed to funding research for the early detection of ovarian cancer. This cause is deeply personal to me—my great-grandmother and the mother of one of my closest friends both passed away from this silent and often undetected disease. Their stories, and the stories of so many others affected by ovarian cancer, fuel my motivation with every step. By raising money for Tina’s Wish, I hope to honor their memory and contribute to a future where early diagnosis is possible, and lives can be saved.
