We wore that quote on T-shirts, sweatshirts, and bracelets non-stop. It all still feels so fresh, yet somehow, it was 13 years ago that Delaney's journey began.

Delaney taught us all so much then as a little 2 year old—and she continues to teach us today. Nothing was going to stop her or her parents. Her Dad and Mom, brothers, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and community all rallied around her and helped carry her through this journey.

And now, Delaney is 15. She’s in high school, getting straight A’s, going to football games and HOCO, and playing on the JV-D tennis team. And, of course, she’s always watching over her brothers.

That little girl who showed us what fierce really means has grown into an amazing young teenager and an inspiration to so many! ~ Blessed in so many ways.

She is why we flutter. 🦋

Unravel is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to bridge the gap in funding for pediatric cancer research. With the help of warrior families and their communities, Unravel raises awareness of the need for this research and the funds to support it.

Unlike the typical grant funding model, Unravel gives unrestricted funds to innovative pediatric cancer researchers, which removes barriers and accelerates the development of more effective and less toxic treatments for children with cancer.
