Join LHI’s campaign to build a new high school in Chajul, Guatemala, and I'll match your donation!

Limitless Horizons Ixil's ground-breaking new middle school in rural, indigenous Guatemala has been highly successful in shifting gender norms, boosting educational quality and support, and positioning youth for professional and civic leadership. As we already have 3 full grade levels of middle school students, LHI is constructing the adjoining high school and training teachers for the monumental task of creating rigorous and engaging high school classrooms, the likes of which they've never experienced themselves as students. In our community, everyone is learning and growing-- students, families, teachers, and staff. As LHI builds the opportunities, we see students working hard and making the most of those opportunities to reach their dreams and to help others. LHI's high school will create a pipeline of educated agents of change who use their voice and their skills to develop solutions to local challenges.
“Colegio Horizontes is allowing girls like us, whose families don’t have money, to follow our dreams.” – Hermelinda, 9th grader at Colegio Horizontes, who is working hard to strengthen her skills so that she can become a doctor, a singer, or an entrepreneur -- or all 3!
