In May 2024 will mark my 19 year workiversary with the YMCA - that's about half my lifetime! The reason I've stayed at the Y for so long is not just because of my great colleagues, exceptional bosses and flexible work schedule; It's the fact that I get to come to work everyday and make positive impacts in communities.

My current Y, YMCA International Services, is a refugee resettlement agency that helps newcomers navigate a new life in the US. We meet many in the community during their most vulnerable days and assist with basic and long-term needs. It's our goal for all newcomers to increase their civic participation and achieve self-sufficiency.

Here's a few examples of how your donation could make an impact:

$100 - Provides a child with the tools needed to start school successfully

$500 - Provides a newcomer with a bed, frame and sheets
