I had 17 abdominal surgeries due to suffering from severe Crohn’s disease. My 16th surgery was my C-section for the birth of my amazing son! I then met the Calgary and the Ostomy Canada support groups. This changed my life for the better. Let’s make sure every adult and child of the estimated 135,000 Canadians living with an ostomy are able to find the support they need. Let our voices be heard!
