Story
The 15th annual Courage in Motion takes place from October 19 to 23, 2025, in southern Israel. As an international cyclist, I will ride between 50 and 130 kilometres each day alongside Israel’s brave disabled veterans.
Cycling has become one of the most popular sports offered at the leading-edge Beit Halochem Centres across Israel. These centres provide a vital opportunity for individuals who have lost the use of their limbs or eyesight to experience the joy of the outdoors and regain a sense of freedom.
Beit Halochem Canada is committed to rehabilitating, rebuilding, and enhancing the lives of Israelis disabled in the line of duty or through acts of terror. State-of-the-art Beit Halochem Centres in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Be’er Sheva, and the future Ashdod offer outstanding rehabilitative services, including therapeutic devices, specialized equipment, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, sports coaching, and cultural activities. These Centres are where our members work to reclaim their lives. Caring for Israel’s disabled veterans and providing the assistance they need to be active, engaged participants in Israeli society are among Beit Halochem’s highest priorities.
I invite you to join me in this important cause by supporting my fundraising efforts for Courage in Motion 2025. Together, we can make a difference and empower those who have given so much for their country.
