In June, I took on the Uk Ultimate Triathlon in Whitchurch swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles and running 26.2 miles.

In September, Lou and I are teaming up to take on the Race the Sun challenge in the Lake District cycling 40 miles, kayaking 2.5 miles and summiting Skiddaw for an 11 mile hike.

We are hoping to raise money for Action Medical Research, a leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent still births.
