Hi, thanks for visiting my Just Giving page. I am completing the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2024 to raise money for Mind, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to access mental health services during my teenage years and I believe it was vital to my recovery. Due to being given outstanding care in a timely way, I am now a 2nd year medical student at Keele University. I realise that I have been incredibly fortunate in my journey, however I know not everyone has the same positive experiences as I have had. Due to increased demands on mental health services, coupled with the stigma that often accompanies accessing mental health care, many people are suffering in silence for too long. I am passionate about using my story to advocate for others and change this, whilst working to provide an avenue for people to be heard when they need it most.
