Story
Thank you, sincerely, for taking the time to consider a donation to our cause. Knowing me, I'm sure you know that philanthropy and medicine are among my strongest passions, which is why I am so proud and excited to be a member of the Overlook Junior Board. Our collective mission is to make Overlook a better place for everyone who walks or is wheeled through its doors.
After careful contemplation, the other board members and I have unanimously chosen to raise money to introduce a Globus ExcelsiusGPS robotic navigation system. This system has the potential to streamline spinal surgeries by reducing their invasiveness and to draw some of the nation's top spine professionals to Overlook's Atlantic Neuroscience Institute.
Having spent quite some time volunteering at Morristown Medical Center, I've witnessed the immense struggle it is to spend time in the hospital or watch a loved one spend time in one. Spinal surgeries, which are often life-altering, are the epitome of such. A close friend of mine recently underwent it and described it as the most difficult experience of his life, with a grueling recovery. I feel it is absolutely critical to ease the process of spinal surgery in any way we can, and reducing its invasiveness and complications with the Globus ExcelsiusGPS is a vital step in facilitating this.
I hope you will join us in revolutionizing spinal care at Overlook, and securing the hospital's future as an industry leader in neuroscience.
