Welcome to my Brighton Marathon 2025 profile page for Diabetes UK.

I am running the Brighton Marathon on behalf of Diabetes UK for My Wife, Holly. Unfortunately Holly was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 8 and has lived with the condition ever since. Daily management can be challenging and thanks to the technology and research, Insulin Pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems and advanced treatments for diabetic complications have come a long way, giving diabetics the ability to live perfectly normal lives.

All donations received go towards the research for better management, prevention of long term complications and hopefully one day.. a cure. There are more than 5 million people in the UK living with Diabetes and someone is diagnosed every 2 minutes.
