I am delighted to announce that I am running the TCS Amsterdam Marathon on 20th October in collaboration with Lancaster Marrow for Anthony Nolan!!

I first heard about Anthony Nolan through Lancaster Marrow, a UK student-led organisation that works in collaboration with the Anthony Nolan Charity to help recruit potential stem cell donors to the Stem Cell Register.

From the wonderful awareness-spreading events held by Lancaster Marrow to the stirring stories about the incredible work Anthony Nolan does to save people's lives, I have been inspired to undertake this challenge of running a marathon and raising money for a great cause.

So what exactly does Anthony Nolan do?

Anthony Nolan is a pioneering blood cancer charity that saves the lives of those with blood cancers or blood disorders. They do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant.

They also carry out cutting-edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond.

Anthony Nolan's mission is to not stop until everyone who needs a stem cell transplant can receive one. Every little penny donated helps towards achieving this goal.

I would be grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small, towards helping Anthony Nolan achieve this mission.
