Lydia Sheils is raising money for Mind

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect, but we need your help too. Join the TCS London Marathon 2025 and help us to ensure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

Story

I’m raising money for MIND charity because, over the past few years, I’ve become more and more aware of how crucial mental health is, both for myself and for those around me. As I’ve navigated my 20s, lived through a pandemic, moved to London, and seen friends and family face incredibly tough challenges, I’ve seen firsthand how mental health struggles can impact every aspect of life. But I’ve also witnessed the incredible transformation that can happen when someone acknowledges the importance of mental health and seeks help, particularly through the support of a good therapist. MIND plays a vital role in offering the support and resources people need, and I want to contribute to their work so that others can access the help they deserve.

Any donations welcome! Thank you so much for your support

When you're experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That's what we do. We empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them through the following:

-Our Infoline, which offers callers confidential help for the price of a local call.

-Our Legal Line, which provides information on mental health related law to the public, service users, family members/carers, mental health professionals and mental health advocates.

-Our award-winning information, certified by the PIF Tick.
