24 Hours of GRACE

Lynda Warner is raising money for Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange
“24 Hours of GRACE”
Crisis doesn't wait. On Tuesday, March 24, we ask you to give to GRACE. Give so others can be secure in their home, have plenty of food for their families, and get the proper healthcare they need. 24 Hours. Real Help. Right Here. Right Now.

Story

Why do it? Why GRACE? Why now?

During this recent Lent season Robert and I have thought deep about the meaning of GRACE, God's gift to humanity. It is the free and unearned help, favor or forgiveness from God. And we have come to understand that we are squandering that precious gift if we cannot pass GRACE on to those in our community.

In the past we have given up soda, dessert, etc. for Lent. This year that falls so flat for us. Instead, we are focusing on passing the GRACE that God has blessed us with.

One way that we are doing that is by participating in "24 Hours of GRACE". We have made a commitment to try to match anything that our friends and loved ones contribute.

Funds raised will help GRACE provide food to those that are hungry, clothing for children who have grown since last summer, housing assistance for those missing a paycheck and helping other get to work who are having trouble affording the rising price of gas.

Thank you all. We love and appreciate you all.

(If you decide to make a direct contribution to GRACE instead, please let me know.)
