2025 Clubhouse Hero Challenge

Lyndie Walton is raising money for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana
During the 2025 Clubhouse Hero Challenge from May 22 to June 8, our alliance of heroes is competing to raise the most funds to support bright futures for our Club kids.

Story

I am joining forces with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana to ask YOU to become a champion for our kids!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana provides safe and enriching environments for young people after school, offering programs focused on academic success, character and leadership development, and healthy lifestyles. Serving over 8,000 youth annually throughout their 10 Clubs in Lake and Porter Counties, they are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

A bit about me...

I am the Vice President of Continental Electric in Gary, Indiana, where I use my background in construction management to help bring impactful projects to life across our region. After graduating from Purdue University in 2015 and Indiana State University in 2019, I’ve had the honor of receiving recognitions like the Times 20 Under 40 and the Northwest Indiana Influential Woman award in construction—acknowledgments that reflect my passion for this industry and my commitment to our community.

I was raised in Portage and Chesterton and now call Valparaiso home, where I stay closely connected to the people and places that shaped me. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends and serving on several community boards that help build stronger neighborhoods throughout Northwest Indiana. This challenge is especially meaningful to me—not just as a proud former Boys & Girls Club member, but also as the mother of a current club member at the Valparaiso Club. Supporting the Club’s mission is a full-circle moment for me, and I’m grateful to give back to an organization that continues to shape young lives, including my own child’s.

As a Clubhouse Hero during the 2025 Clubhouse Hero Challenge from May 25 to June 8, I am competing against other local leaders to see who can raise the most funds to support bright futures for our region’s youth. If I win, I will deliver on a special promise for the kids at one local Club. Your contribution gives our region’s children the tools to become the superheroes of their own stories.
