Dear friends and family,

I wanted to share with you all the personal meaning behind my participation in the Strictly Kilbryde challenge. Cancer is a cruel disease that takes away dreams and loved ones from too many families. My own family has experienced this pain, as my beloved husband John lost his battle with bladder cancer in 2019.

Kilbryde Hospice provides a safe haven for both patients and their families during the most difficult times. It's a place where they can spend quality time together and receive the very best care and support. However, the hospice relies on public donations to continue offering this level of care.

That's why I'm asking anyone who has been touched by cancer in any way to please consider donating anything you can to this incredible facility. Every little bit helps and will go towards maintaining the hospice and ensuring that other families receive the same level of care and support that mine did.

I am grateful for your words of encouragement as I take on this challenge and dance for a cause that is so close to my heart. Let's keep dancing and raising vital funds for Kilbryde Hospice through Just Giving.
