Story
This December, my husband Maciek and I are taking on HYROX London ExCeL to support people living with cancer, for Macmillan Cancer Support.
HYROX is a fitness race that combines both running and functional fitness. We'll be taking on a course of a 1km run followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.
This challenge means a lot to us, we're doing it in memory of my mum, and thinking of Carol from work too. Cancer has touched people close to us, and if we can raise a bit along the way to help others going through it, that would mean the world.
We've pledged to raise £800, which could help support many of Macmillan's vital services. We'd be so grateful for any donations to help us reach our goal.
Donations such as:
£23 could provide one session of emotional support to a person living with cancer with a Macmillan Buddy.
£41 could pay for a Macmillan Nurse for 1 hour.
There are currently over 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
