Mind Mental health charity is something incredibly close to my heart, and that’s why raising money for mental health charities means so much to me. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply mental health struggles can affect someone’s life — whether it’s a friend, a family member, or even myself. It’s not always visible, but the pain is real, and too often people suffer in silence, feeling like they have nowhere to turn. Supporting mental health charities like Mind is my way of helping to break that silence and ensure that support is there when it’s needed most. Every pound raised goes toward providing life-saving services, raising awareness, and giving people the chance to feel heard, understood, and cared for. To me, this isn’t just fundraising — it’s fighting for hope, for healing, and for the belief that no one should ever have to face their mental health battles alone.

Sometimes you find that the people who seem the happiest are the ones hurting the most. I’ve come to realise that a smile can hide so much — stress, anxiety, even deep sadness. That’s why speaking up about mental health and supporting those who are struggling matters so much. It reminds people that they don’t have to pretend, that it’s okay not to be okay. For us, there’s real purpose in helping create a world where people feel safe to show their true selves, where they don’t have to wear a mask just to get through the day. If raising awareness or funds helps even one person feel less alone, then it’s already worth it.

So this year, myself and Pippa are excited to announce that we are participating in "Mind's 2025 Tough Mudder Team" at Tough Mudder South West 2025 on August 16th, 2025. We are committed to raising £300 to support our vital services that help those in need.
