I am a biomedical scientist and have worked in 8 different hospitals within 4 different health authorities in the UK, 3 of the hospitals being university hospitals, am currently at the John Radcliffe in Oxford. I am 65 and retiring at the end of November and decided to do something different to mark the end of my working life. I became a crew member of the Clipper 2023-24 Round the World Yacht Race and am part of the team QINGDAO.

UNICEF is the Charity Partner for The Clipper 2023-24 Round the World Yacht Race and I'm proud to be raising money to support their vital work for children.
