Story
This will be my 9th marathon in total running for Mind and my 7th London Marathon.
I started running for Mind in 2019 as I sadly lost my mum the previous year which absolutely shattered our family.
I continue to raise funds for Mind because I honestly do not want anyone to suffer like my mum did and I am desperate to break the stigma that surrounds the illness.
The stigma stops people talking because they feel shame - why should someone who is suffering so badly feel a sense of shame too?
With unbelievable support from family friends and even strangers I have been able to raise over £38000 for this fantastic charity.
I am hoping to get close to £50k this year with a gig organised at The Cambridge Junction where both the Indietones and Back to the 80s will be performing.
I appreciate every donation and message of support and couldn’t do any of this without you.
Let’s break the stigma 💙
