Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ok in the past the year, I had a brush with Diabetes myself ending up well within the pre-diabetic group and at risk of type 2 diabetes.

However, with the aid of an excellent coach and the support of friends and family, I managed to lose 3 stone (42lbs or 19kgs) and reverse the situation.

I am always raising money for the British Heart Foundation but this year I thought I would do something for people who suffer from this condition who are very close to home, so family, friends and work colleagues - this is for your cause.

So I will try sharing the fund raising effort between the two - let's see how that goes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Ok, I will be peddling up and down hills in my Brentford shirt and shorts (Lycra-free Zone) and as some wag said last year "would you wear my team's shirt if I donate". Well the answer to that is simple, if you send it to me in either XL or L and donate more than £50, then the answer is yes, it's for charity (first come first served of course).

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
