Dear family, friends and neighbours.

Many of you are aware I have passion for running and while it gets harder as I get older, I am pleased, this year to run in support of the great work of The Ottawa Mission. I kindly ask for your help with my wish to use my ability to help those in desperate need of food, and shelter. At the end of each day, I am forever grateful for being fortunate to have food, a roof over my head, and a nice comfortable and safe place to sleep.

The work The Ottawa Mission does is incredible. They provide food, clothing, shelter and teach skills to help those willing to get back on their own feet, and find a new home.

Since 1906, The Ottawa Mission has been serving the homeless, the hungry and the lost by In 2024-2025, The Ottawa Mission provided emergency shelter to an average of 187 men every night and served an average of 3,312 meals every day. The Ottawa Mission also provides to men and women health services, mental health and addiction treatment programs, hospice care, dental services, housing services, educational support, job training, spiritual care, and clothing to thousands in need in our community.
