Story
On November 2nd, I’ll be running the TCS New York City Marathon 2025—all 26.2 miles of it—to raise awareness and support for families facing the challenges of cancer and power wheelchair needs.
Some of you may be thinking "Wait… Matt’s a runner?" And you’d be absolutely right—I’m not! But in celebration of my 60th birthday this year, I decided to go big and set a personal goal to complete the NYC Half Marathon in March (which I did!), and now—crazy as it sounds—take on the full NYC Marathon. But more than the run itself, I’m excited help raise funds for the JDJ Charitable Foundation.
JDJ seeks to ease the crushing financial pressures that often come alongside cancer. Whether it’s helping to fund wheelchairs, school scholarships, or simply meeting everyday needs, JDJ steps in to provide real, practical support to families in crisis.
This isn’t just about crossing the finish line. it’s about making a difference in the lives of families facing these challenges. Every dollar donated will have a direct impact, providing essential support to those in need
My personal goal is to raise at least $4,000, and I’d be honored if you’d consider helping me get there. Your generosity supports real families dealing with the hardship of cancer. Will you help?
Thank you in advance for your encouragement, prayers, and making a donation to JDJ. I’m excited to have you along for the journey.
