I'm running my first GNR in 2025 in memory of my late Grandad, Kenny Parkinson, to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust, a vital charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.

The charity runs the UK's stem cell register, matching people in desperate need of a stem cell or bone marrow transplant with incredible donors who are willing to help save a life. Every day, they match patients who have no other hope of recovery with those willing to donate stem cells, giving families a second chance.

The Anthony Nolan Trust also funds ground-breaking research into improving transplant success and supports patients and their families throughout the entire transplant process, offering guidance and care at every step. Their work is crucial, but it relies on donations to continue saving lives.
