Megan's fundraiser for Mind - London Marathon 2026

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
I will be running the London Marathon 2026 in support of the charity ‘Mind’.
I will be running this marathon in honour of my two friends Jaz and Liam. We sadly lost them both, 2 years apart, after they lost their battle to mental health at only 16 and 18 years old. They were both so bright, and beautiful, and are most definitely laughing at me right now! 🤭
Mind is so important to me, and all of the friends and family of our lovely Jaz and Liam. We appreciate everything they do to prevent this from happening to more beautiful people.
I know, you are probably thinking I’m crazy for running a marathon! (I have never ran more than 10k, so I am anxious and excited all at the same time!) but I was eager to do something HUGE to make them both proud, as well as share the importance of mental health and suicide prevention.
I best get training now! 🏃🏼♀️But please read below if you’d like to know what Mind does with our donations🤍
We change minds across England and Wales by making mental health an everyday priority.
By standing up to the injustices – in healthcare, in work, in law – which make life harder for those of us with mental health problems.
We support minds – by offering help whenever you might need it through our information, advice and local services.
And we connect minds.
Bringing together an unstoppable network of individuals and communities – people who care about mental health to make a difference.
