Story
I am thrilled to be running the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon in support of Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), the world leader in musculoskeletal health. Every step I take is dedicated to helping people move better, live pain-free, and regain mobility through groundbreaking orthopedic care, research, and rehabilitation. HSS transforms lives—whether it is an athlete returning to their sport, a parent chasing after their child, or someone simply walking without pain for the first time in years.
As you probably know, supporting HSS is a cause that is deeply personal to me. Following Belle's elbow injury in 2021 and three unsuccessful surgeries elsewhere, she underwent an extremely complicated surgery at HSS to rebuild her elbow using bone and cartilage from her knee. Belle has received extraordinary care and support from Dr. Robert Hotchkiss and his entire team, including Kate Young (PA), Dr. Madeline Tadley (surgical fellow), and Alex MacKenzie (the BEST Hand Therapist), as well as Dr. Scott Rodeo. Alice had a similarly positive experience with Dr. Samir Trehan last year after her roller skating accident. And Dr. Todd McGrath treated me for plantar fasciitis, allowing me to return to running pain-free.
I invite you to be part of my journey. Your support—whether through a donation or by cheering me on—fuels the critical work of HSS, ensuring that more people receive the life-changing care they need. Together, we can make a lasting impact. Please consider donating today and helping me cross both the finish line and my fundraising goal! Thank you for believing in this mission and in me!
