This November, we are running the NYC Marathon—26.2 miles through all five boroughs—to raise $8,000 for the Quality in Life Team (QUILT) at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM).

QUILT provides compassionate palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions, offering expert pain management, emotional and spiritual support, and guidance for families during their most difficult moments. As a pediatrician at CHAM, I’ve seen firsthand the difference this care can make for children and their families.

While this is not our first marathon, as newly minted New Yorkers who are running for CHAM, this one will be especially meaningful for us.
