Raising Funds for YMCA’s Community Sponsored Programs
First off, I want to thank you. Individuals in the Valley of the Sun, more than 120,000, made the Y an important part of improving their lives this year, through childcare, exercise, social programs, teen development and family services that help us learn, grow and thrive.
We need your support. Donations go directly to helping provide financial assistance for programs and services for our Ahwatukee Foothills most vulnerable populations. At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
There’s this misconception that the YMCA is just a gym facility. The YMCA is in fact a nonprofit that promotes healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development for all ages. There are many community-sponsored programs like the drown prevention, diabetes awareness, Employee University giving teems life skills, Y OPAS helping the elderly maintain independence and much more. The YMCA is proud of the fact that they never turn anyone away. There are even scholarships for those in need.
About me:
I am a two-percenter in real estate, selling millions each year. People trust me as their advisor primarily in Ahwatukee, but I also serve the Southeast Valley, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. People say I am known as someone you can trust, someone you would refer to your friends and family because I give it to you straight and look out for other’s interest first. I have a long history of volunteering having done donation drives for the VA facility, volunteered for the environment and a women’s shelter. I currently volunteer as the YMCA chairperson, presidents club and board member.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Michelle
