Story

A multipotentialite is a person with many interests and creative pursuits who may pursue them simultaneously or sequentially. They may excel at different types of careers and activities and can often connect seemingly different paths to work together. They may also have transferable skill sets that can be applied across disciplines and may be curious and eager to learn new things. The protagonist of this story is Michael Boggio, mutlipotentialite extraordinaire.

Mike Boggio is an anomaly in the business world. He is the definition of a modern-day Renaissance Man. Mike grew up in a family of successful architects and contractors in Michigan. His first daughter came into the world when Mike was only 19 himself. He spent the next 11 years working for the family business and going to night school, securing a degree in architecture and construction management. By the time he was in his mid-20s, he was running a general contracting company, but he knew there was more.

After securing his culinary degree for fun, Mike observed that the Detroit music scene was on fire when he was still in his early 20s. He managed to meet some very high-profile musicians, and this is where Mike the Renaissance Man steps in. Always an avid musician, artist, and writer, Mike had a true passion and talent for musical arts. He made some influential friends in rock & roll, found himself working with notable bands, and began touring.

Yet the story doesn’t end there. During one of his many trips to LA, Mike was introduced to a Hollywood film producer and pitched a script idea to him. The two of them hit it off instantaneously and a new film production company was born – Michael Entertainment Group, a development and production company. Their success is evident in the films they’ve produced.

Mike and two partners decided to develop some land in South Florida. In 2023, they launched Slate Development in South Florida, developing luxury residences in Broward and Miami Dade County. Mike is also working on a new partnership, new residential construction technology, and is in the beginning stages of developing a 3D printed residential neighborhood in Florida.

Mike is the proud father of three sensational children. His youngest son is a touring DJ. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

When asked what resonates most with Mike, he quickly mentioned the importance of acknowledging our military veterans and during his musical career and still today, he has made many contributions to military orginaizations. Mike recognizes the personal risks our military men and women have taken and notes “the time they spend away from family, and the hardships they endure in carrying out their duties. We all have a duty to show respect and appreciation for their willingness to put themselves in harm's way to protect the rights and freedoms of their fellow citizens.”

Mike has also given back to our community by working with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and also Boy and Girls Club. “our youth are the building blocks of our future and to be able to contribute to their future is so important in giving a head start in life.”

Glam-A-THON and the many breast cancer patients assisted by the foundation deeply welcome and honor Michael Boggio’s dedication to helping his new community Kiss Breast Cancer Goodbye®!
