Molly's fundraiser for The Brain Tumour Charity

Great North Run 2024 · 8 September 2024 ·
Hello friends,
On 8th September I'm taking part in the 2024 Great North Run, raising money for the Brain Tumour Charity. I'm taking on this challenge in memory of my lovely Grandma Pat who sadly lost her battle with cancer in March this year.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally, committed to saving and improving lives. My Grandma was diagnosed with a particularly rare and aggressive form of cancer, and this charity is set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change towards finding a cure.
I'm someone who is not usually a runner, so this will be the furthest distance I'll have completed and a real challenge for me. As something that has affected our family so deeply, I hope to be able to turn our story into something positive, to help others experiencing the same have a greater chance of a happy ending, as my Grandma would've wanted.
I'm really grateful for your support - thank you.
