In 2021, I lost my Grandad after he bravely battled cancer for many years. He wasn’t just my Grandad; he was my best friend, my biggest supporter and someone I would give absolutely anything to have one more tomorrow with.

Since losing him, every milestone, every achievement and every exciting moment in my life has been accompanied by the same thought… “If only Grandad was here to see this.”

On 24th April 2027, I will be taking on the London Marathon, running 26.2 miles in memory of the man who meant the absolute world to me, whilst raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

My fundraising target is £2,500, and over the coming months I will be organising fundraising events, activities and challenges to help me reach this goal.

Macmillan provides invaluable support to people living with cancer and their loved ones. Having experienced firsthand the heartbreak that cancer brings to a family, I want to do my little bit to help ensure that others facing the same journey have the support they deserve.
