Twilight Own Walk 2024 · 1 March 2024 to 31 March 2024 ·

This March, take strides towards curing brain tumours. The Twilight Walk is our biggest and most inspiring event of the year, where people from all across the brain tumour community come together to stride forward

Story

In June 2023, at the age of 26, my brother Jack was diagnosed with two incurable brain tumours. A diagnosis that devastated us as a family.

Since then, he has had surgery to remove part of one tumour and needed to have a shunt fitted to help keep the fluid on his brain stable. He has received radiotherapy and is currently undergoing 12 months of chemotherapy treatment.

Jack now struggles with his short term memory, faces various challenges daily and has lost much of his independence. Despite all this, he remains positive and never, ever complains. Jack amazes us everyday and continues to be his happy, kind and caring self. One of the strongest and bravest people that I know.

I have decided to take part in the Brain Tumour Charity's Twilight Walk, to help raise money for this fantastic charity. I will be walking 15km in the Shropshire Hills on Sunday 24th March 2024.

I aim to raise £200 and would be extremely grateful to receive any donations, no matter how big or small.

Wish me luck!
