Story

Dear friends – as many of you know, Nathan has traveled to Iowa the last two years to be part of a school missions team where they helped a local ministry reach the community. These were both transformative experiences for Nathan.

I’m very pleased to announce that this year, Nathan has been selected to be a member of his school’s missionary outreach to the Navajo Nation US Indian Reservation in Arizona. The group will be partnering with Tuba City Church of Christ, a community of believers committed to reaching the Navajo people with the love of Christ.

Among other forms of ministry, this group of middle school students will be partnering with the US Forestry Service to transport, cut, and stack wood for local families, which is vital for heating and cooking. This highly practical, hands-on ministry will allow the students, and the church community, to enter local Navajo tribe members’ lives to share the hope of salvation found only in Christ. Knowing Nathan, he will thrive in this tough work / high ministry environment!

The trip will take place May 31- June 7, 2025, but the school requires families to begin raising money now. Each student needs to raise $1,650.

I’m writing to ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in supporting Nathan financially to meet this objective.

All donations made at this site will go to Nathan exclusively for this trip, and are tax deductible.

If you would like to email a word of encouragement to Nathan directly, you can do so at: baimana@student.gac.org.
