I was fortunate to receive a lifesaving kidney transplant in April 2021. Since then, I have gotten to know the young woman whose donation saved my life with the help of her family, that has also become a champion of organ donation since her passing.

Getting to meet and work with fellow organ recipients has given me a community of people who understand and have gone through the same challenges I have gone through and continue to today.
